BRANDON (FOX 13) -
Emergency crews are responding to a crash involving a two school buses.
According to Hillsborough Fire Rescue, the scene is at Bell Shoals and Bloomingdale.
Preliminary information deputies is that two school buses following each other were stopped at the intersection. The buses took off and the second bus driver did not notice that the first bus had stopped. The second bus struck the first bus in the rear.
There were students from Bloomingdale High School on both buses. Approximately eight of the students were complaining of minor pain and were taken to a local hospital to be medically cleared.
There was no dump truck involved, despite initial word from HCFR.
