PALM RIVER (FOX 13) -
Deputies say one person was killed Tuesday morning at 78th Street and Paradise Place when their car collided with a telephone pole.
The crash happened around 3:15 a.m. The car was headed south on 78th when the driver lost control and hit the pole.
A neighbor who witnessed the crash called 911, but it was too late.
The woman inside, identified as Gina Balistreri of Wesley Chapel, died at Tampa General Hospital.
The investigation into the crash continues.
