Deputies: Thieves took boat, but only stole motor

Detectives are searching for two suspects in a boat theft last week.

It happened between 6 p.m. on Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday at the docks near a residence at 4113 Floramar Terrace in New Port Richey.

The boats were found at Green Key Beach, but there was no motor.

The value of the motor was around $2,500.

The owner had their boat motor stolen three years ago, too, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said.
