Corbett Signs 'Brad Fox Law' On Gun Straw Purchases

PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. -

Pennsylvania lawmakers are cracking down on illegal gun purchases.

On Friday morning, Gov. Tom Corbett ceremonially signed into law "The Brad Fox Law."

Plymouth Township Police Officer Bradley Fox was shot and killed in the line of duty by a criminal who illegally bought the murder weapon in a straw purchase.

The law establishes a minimum five-year prison sentence for anyone convicted of multiple straw purchases.
