TAMPA (FOX 13) -
We hope you liked your winter cold blast – if you could even call it that.
The Tampa Bay area is in for a warming trend this week, with high temperatures expected back into the 80s through the weekend. FOX 13 meteorologist Dave Osterberg said you can expect plenty of sunshine, too.
"Over the coming days our high temperatures are going to soar," he said.
Partly cloudy skies are expected on some of the days, but there's no rain in the forecast. The temperatures, meanwhile, will be 10 to 15 degrees above normal.
Osterberg said cooler weather should return by next week.
