ROCKDALE COUNTY, Ga. -
Authorities in Rockdale County are asking the public's help to help identify the body of a man found in the woods on Sunday night.
The Rockdale County Sheriff's Office says the burning body was discovered after units responded to a call of a fire in a wooded area off Highway 212 just after 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Investigators say foul play is not involved based on information collected at the scene, and an autopsy conducted Monday afternoon. They say the fire and cause of death are believed to be either accidental or intentional.
