Two men were arrested in Pasco County after leading deputies on a cross-county chase.
The sheriff's office says Zaki Grier and Jamar Sampson bolted after burglarizing a home at 17610 Willow Pond Drive, jumping in a red Mustang and heading north on I-275.
Deputies caught up with them near the exit at Bearss Avenue in north Tampa, but the suspects did not stop, leading them onto to I-75 north and into Pasco County, where the chase ended when they tried to hide under the State Road 56 overpass.
Grier, 22, and Sampson, 29, were arrested without incident. Deputies say
they found jewelry in their pockets, as well as other items in their car.
