University of South Florida head football coach Willie Taggart announced Sunday the hiring of former Plant High football coach Robert Weiner as wide receivers coach.
In Weiner's nine seasons at Plant, the Panthers won four state titles and compliled a record of 102-19. The Panthers, who have won a county-best eight straight district titles, have not made any comments as to who will be Weiner's successor at the school.
