Car crashes into building on USF campus

Part of a building on the University of South Florida campus is closed off after a car crashed into it Thursday afternoon.

USF Police say they got a call about the crash around 3:50 p.m.

They say the driver apparently hit the wrong pedal, and ran into the Morsani Center on Laurel Drive.

There was no word on the driver's identity or condition Thursday night. It also unclear when repairs would be complete.
