TAMPA (FOX 13) -

The attorney for Trevor Dooley, the man found guilty in a manslaughter case, will be back in court today.

Dooley is filing a motion asking a judge to declare a mistrial. Dooley was found guilty of manslaughter in November for the death of David James.

He is accused of shooting James in 2010. The two men were involved in an altercation on a neighborhood basketball court.

Dooley has claimed he shot James in self-defense. Dooley will be sentenced Jan. 10.
