TAMPA (FOX 13) -
Authorities say they have a man in custody who shot a taxi driver in the chest, and there is a reward for information leading to the arrest of a second suspect.
Officers arrested 21-year-old Ricky Offutt Jr. on December 20. He faces numerous charges, including attempted murder.
The shooting happened December 18th. Investigators say two men approached the taxi driver with a shotgun and demanded money. The driver threw the money out of the window, and one of the men shot him.
The driver was last listed in serious condition at St. Joseph's Hospital, according to police.
