NOKOMIS (FOX 13) -
Firefighters in Nokomis put out a house that was fully engulfed in flames, then discovered someone had died inside the home.
It happened Tuesday around 6 p.m. along the 100 block of North Kenwood.
Investigators are still working to find out who the person was and how the fire started.
There's no word yet if they think the fire is suspicious. But they are asking that anyone with information contact them at 941-861-4900, or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 941-366-TIPS (8477).
