A Manatee County family celebrated the New Year behind bars after a celebratory gunfire incident.
It all started inside a neighborhood near 703 33rd Avenue Drive East in Bradenton.
Deputies say they responded to a report of possibly seven men firing guns into the air. When they arrived, a teenager was even firing a gun near several small children, and deputies arrested him.
When deputies went to checkout a nearby house, another teenager charged at them. Then, deputies say, his brother and mother got involved.
All three family members were arrested. The mother's name is Rosa Espinosa. FOX 13 is not naming the teens.
No one was injured in the incident.
