A flag football game in Clearwater will be much more than just fun and games. It will honor Logan Kushner, who died earlier this year after smoking synthetic marijuana.
His mom, understandably, is devastated, and has formed a new organization called "I'm Logan It" in his memory.
"I just think Logan is an angel," P.A. Kushner told FOX 13 on Friday. "I think he is there to help a lot of people, and I am just going to keep thinking that way. That's the only way I can make sense of this."
"I'm Logan It" is planning more than just the game this weekend. It hopes to raise money for Logan's favorite charities, Tourette's and Juvenile Diabetes. It also plans to give college scholarships.
But perhaps, one of the most important things it will do is to try and encourage teens to have high self-esteem, make good choices, and do random acts of kindness.
