LAKE WALES (FOX 13) -
One person was killed and several others injured in a car crash in Polk County Monday night.
It happened on State Road 60 east of Boy Scout Road in Lakes Wales around 11 p.m.
Felix Rosa, 47, died at the scene of the crash. Three others in the car with him were injured and taken to nearby hospitals.
According to the Polk County Sheriff's Office, 58-year-old Michael Sisco was driving on the wrong side of the road along Highway 60 when he crashed into the car Rosa was driving. In a media release, the sheriff's office said "impairment appears to be a factor" in the crash.
Sisco was taken to the hospital; the sheriff's office did not say in what condition.
One lane of S.R. 60 was closed for several hours after the crash. There is no word yet on charges,
