LITHIA (FOX 13) -

Deputies have arrested a 26-year-old woman accused of threatening to blow up Pinecrest Elementary School.

Jessica Schauer was arrested at her home Thursday for comments she allegedly made Wednesday around a group of people.

According to the sheriff's office, Schauer was at the school when she said "Don't bring your kids to school that day."

She was apparently asked "which day," deputies said, to which she replied "the day I blow it up."

Witnesses reported the incident to the school principal, who then reported it to the sheriff's office.

Schauer is charged with one count of threatening to discharge a destructive device.
