Police say the station owner became suspicious after noticing missing cash and alerted authorities. Klein was taken in for questioning on Monday. Police are putting together video surveillance from the days she worked and plan to hand it over to Macomb Co. prosecutors.

Marijuana was also found inside the apartment. Klein now faces embezzlement and possession charges.

Police say the money is being held as evidence.
