Plans in place for comfortable return for Newtown students, staff

Plans are in place for a safe and comfortable return to classes for the students and staff of Sandy Hook Elementary school. The school in Newtown, Conn. will not reopen for this school year. Students and staff will attend the Chalk Hill School in neighboring Monroe, Ct.
Good Day NY spoke with Monroe Police Lt. Brian McCauley about the preparations underway.
"We are trying to make this as easy, as safe and as secure as possible. We (in Monroe) try to be as proactive as possible. We will be keeping a sharp eye to make them feel welcome," said McCauley.
SHES students will not return to school until Jan. 2013.

The competitive streak between Rosanna and Greg continues. This time, the Good Day duo faced off in a comedy challenge. The competition was fierce especially with mentors Linda Smith lending Ro a hand, and Colin Quinn helping Greg hone his routine. In the end, it was Rosanna who was the overall favorite.
