Former Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Matt Bush is expected to spend four years in prison for a DUI crash last March.
Tony Tufano, 72, was left seriously injured in the crash, and Bush pleaded guilty to DUI with serious bodily injury, which is a third-degree felony.
As part of a plea deal, all other charged were dismissed by the state.
"People say is this closure? No. I mean, I just don't like that," said Shannon Moore, the victim's daughter in law. "I mean, closure? No. I mean, I just don't see … four years in prison. I just don't see closure."
Bush will serve 51 months, plus get credit for time he's already served in a Charlotte County Jail.
Moore said her father in law is still in a lot of pain from his injuries and is bedridden some days.
