Detectives in Pasco County are hoping someone can identify a man who robbed a Walgreens on Saturday.
It happened at the location at 2480 on U.S. 19 in Holiday around 12:43 a.m. Detectives say the man climbed over the pharmacy counter and grabbed the pharmacist, forcing her then to walk into the medication shelves and give him pills.
It's unclear what
medication he took or how much. Detectives say no weapons were used.
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office says the man left in a silver, late model, four-door car. He could be anywhere between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-10, 150 to 200 pounds, and he was wearing a white hat, grey shirt, black pants and boots.
If you have any information on the robbery, call the sheriff's office at 1-800-854-2862 ext. 7279.
