Lacey Johnson has been battling a rare form of bone cancer and got a chance to meet face-to-face the NFL star who went through the same fight.
New York Giants linebacker Mark Herzlich has texted, tweeted, posted on Facebook, and phone encouragement to the 21-year-old woman. Sunday, she finally got to meet the man she calls an inspiration.
It was an unforgettable moment on the sidelines of the Georgia Dome. Lacey admits she became Giant's linebacker Mark Hezlich's number 1 fan because they share a special bond.
Herzlich fought and beat the same rare bone cancer that Lacey has been battling for the past year. Lacey's cancer has also gone into remission.
