Two teenage Brooksville brothers are facing felony charges after investigators say they robbed two men they contacted on Craigslist.
Justin Rook said he posted an ad to sell his PlayStation 3. He quickly got a bite from a buyer and headed out to Brooksville late Friday night with his uncle to make the exchange. They were supposed to meet at Blanche's Place, a locally-owned gas station, on Cortez Boulevard.
"I went to go shake the guy's hand and greet them and say, 'Hey, what's up man. My name's blah blah blah.' He cocked his 9mm gun, stuck it up to my head and then said, 'Give me everything you have," Rook said.
Rook's uncle, Craig Buss, quickly exited the car to help, but he said he was soon confronted by one of the teens.
"He had the gun pointed right at my head. The machine gun, pointed right at my head. He said, 'I'll shoot you, quit looking at me! Quit looking at me,'" Buss said.
The two suspects are accused of swiping the PlayStation system from the back of Rook's car, and taking the pair's wallets.
The Hernando County Sheriff's Office quickly detained the two brothers, ages 13 and 15. They are charged with felony counts of Armed Robbery and Aggravated Battery.
FOX 13 is not naming the suspects because they are minors.
