The Metropolitan Transportation Authority is putting the finishing touches on the final fare hike plan it will vote on next week.

Under the proposed plan, the price of a single ride Metro Card will rise from $2.25 to $2.50; a monthly card will go up from $104 to $112 and a weekly card will increase one dollar from $29 to $30.

The MTA has reportedly scrapped plans to ax the pay-per-ride bonus.

The revamped bonus will go down from seven percent to five percent on purchases as low as $5, according to the NY Post.

Officials tell the Post the MTA will roll out an education program to help riders get the most bang for their buck.

The MTA board votes on the plan Dec. 19.

The fare hike is expected to take effect in March.
