Pedestrian hit, killed in Manatee

Investigators in Manatee County are trying to find the driver in a fatal hit-and-run crash.

A pedestrian was killed trying to cross 51^st Avenue East. Investigators have not released their name.

The vehicle was heading westbound on 51^st when it struck the pedestrian. A description of the car or driver is not available.
