NORTH PORT (FOX 13) -

Two teenagers have confessed to stealing nearly $6,300 in equipment from the North Port High School baseball team, police said Thursday.

The teenagers, 18-year-old Lee Hignutt and 19-year-old Joshua Luff, ransacked the team's storage facility on campus, detectives say, taking thousands of dollars in equipment.

Surveillance video captured the pair, and detectives tracked them down. Police say they admitted to doing it.

They were arrested for burglary and grand theft.
