Two killed in pedestrian accidents

Two pedestrians were killed Thursday morning in separate incidents, FOX 13 traffic reporter Jen Epstein said.

The first happened in St. Petersburg at 49^th Avenue North and 48^th North. A pedestrian was in the road when they were struck by a vehicle.

The other was causing backups on southbound U.S. 41 near Nundy Avenue.

The pedestrian's names have not been released.
