LARGO (FOX 13) -
Police say an 8-year-old boy was killed Sunday afternoon when he wandered into the street on a skateboard and was struck by a car.
It happened in the 1100 block of Parkview Lane around 2 p.m. He has been identified as Elijah Ryan Crayton.
The child was sitting on the skateboard and pushed himself into the road – right in front of Sarah Doyle, a 36-year-old driving a Buick sedan, police said.
The child was airlifted to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
