ST. PETERSBURG (FOX 13) -
Monday night's basketball game at St. Petersburg High School
will be unlike any other.
The school is retiring the basketball jersey of Brittany
Gordon, the Bay area woman who was killed while serving in Afghanistan.
Gordon, the Bay area's only female killed in the conflicts
in Iraq and Afghanistan, played basketball at St. Pete High.
The school will honor her at halftime.
Gordon was killed in October. It was her first deployment.
She wore the number 33. Her jersey will be framed and hung
in the gym in her memory.
