USF football recruits are already de-committing from the school after head coach Skip Holtz was fired Sunday by the university – including arguably their most valuable incoming freshman.
After hearing the news, star Winter Park quarterback Asiantii Woulard tweeted this:
"I am decommitted from #USF. Keeping options open until things settle but USF is still in the mix," he said.
Woulard is one of the highest rated dual-threat quarterbacks in the country. It is a huge blow for the Bulls.
Immediately, the tweet blew up. Fans from schools around the country are now wooing him away from the Bulls.
We spoke with other recruits Monday morning who said they're
weighing their options. One told FOX 13 that he was "devastated" when he heard
the news, but he wanted to wait to see who is hired.
Holtz finished his tenure at USF with a record of 16-21. Holtz was hired after USF fired Jim Leavitt.
