The Mystery Monkey is on the move one last time.
Trapper Vernon Yates tracked the animal for three years before catching it in Pinellas County last month. He just got permission from the state to move the monkey to Dade City Wild Things.
The move-in date is Monday. Cornelius, as he's been named, will get a private enclosure alongside a lion, jaguar and some baboons.
"After a few days, the public will be able to go see him if they choose," Yates told FOX 13.
They may even find a mate for him. He will be part of a 45-minute riding tour.
"We'll try to make sure he can live the best life he possibly can," Yates said.
Yates said Cornelius has adjusted well to captivity. He's now eating out his hand, and he hasn't shown any signs of anger.
