New York Yankees General Manager Brian Cashman is accustomed to taking risks during the trade deadline but Sunday night he took a different kind of risk.

Cashman was joined by former Mets and Red Sox manager and Stamford native Bobby Valentine in rappelling down Stamford, Connecticut's tallest building.

The two daredevils slid down the 22-story Landmark Building to usher in the holiday season.

This is not the first time Cashman has participated in the free annual event called "Heights and Lights."

Last December, Cashman issued a challenge to Valentine, who at the time was the newly hired Red Sox Manager.
