A horrible case of animal cruelty in Hillsborough County is garnering national attention, and the Human Society of the United States wants to make sure someone is arrested.
We earlier reported on the story of Phoebe, the dog that was found buried up to her neck in a Clair-Mel neighborhood and left for dead.
Investigators say sometime last month she was shot twice in the head.
The Humane Society of the United States is offering a $2,500 reward for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible.
Phoebe was very malnourished, but we're told she's putting on weight and is doing much better now.
