One dead in crash on Gandy

One person was killed Tuesday night after losing control in a car and hitting a building on Gandy Boulevard in St. Petersburg.

The driver was ejected from the car and died at the scene, investigators said. They have not been identified.

Investigators say speed and possibly texting while driving was a factor in the crash.
