ATLANTA (AP) - In a Nov. 27 story about an Atlanta police officer who was involved in a DUI accident, The Associated Press erroneously reported the circumstances surrounding the incident. Niezurawski's license was suspended as a result of the accident. He was not driving on a suspended license.

ATLANTA (AP) - Officials in the DeKalb County Solicitor's office say an Atlanta police officer pleaded guilty to a DUI charge after a wrong way crash with a Greyhound bus.
Authorities say Christopher Niezurawski pleaded guilty in DeKalb County State Court Tuesday, and was sentenced to 12 months in jail.
Officials say the officer will spend 10 days in jail, and will serve the rest of his sentence on probation.
Authorities say the officer was under the influence when he drove the wrong way along Interstate 85 and crashed into a Greyhound bus.
Aside from jail and probation time, Niezurawski's license was suspended. He is also ordered to pay a fine, serve 80 hours of community service and submit to random alcohol screenings during probation.
