Visitation, funeral to be held for slain 2-year-old girl

The visitation for a 2-year-old girl allegedly killed by her older half-sister is to be held on Monday afternoon. It will be held from 2 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Raleigh Rucker Funeral Home, located at 2199 Candler Road in Decatur.

DeKalb County police say they still don't know why a 13-year-old Tyasia Jackson allegedly killed her 2-year-old half-sister. Jackson is being charged as an adult for Sasha Ray's murder. They say the teen was babysitting her sister and several other siblings when the crime occurred last week.

Sasha Ray's funeral is set for Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Kingdom Builders Covenant Church at 3355 Columbia Drive in Decatur.
