TAMPA (FOX 13) -

It's been three days since Critical Intervention Services security officer Michael Valentin was gunned down while on duty at the Grande Oaks Apartment complex in Tampa.

Police have not arrested a suspect - yet.

And even though the tragic shooting occurred right before the Thanksgiving holiday Tampa Police aren't taking any days off. They are following all leads as they attempt to quickly solve the senseless crime.

"The detectives have been working non-stop," explained TPD Public Information Officer Andrea Davis.

Friday investigators released a picture of a bicycle left behind at the scene. On Saturday TPD released to the media surveillance video of a young man riding that bike.

Although the quality of the footage is not the best, detectives are hoping someone recognizes him. TPD has stopped short of calling him a suspect, but it's very clear they would like to speak with him about the events leading up to Valentin's death.

Pictures of the bike have been passed around Grande Oaks but as of Saturday night the images haven't led to any credible tips. Residents of the complex are still reeling from Wednesday night's homicide.

Jeff Grant lives in Grande Oaks. He says his home is safe and the shooting has given the complex a bad name.

"It's a sad story, you know what I'm saying," Grant said of the incident.

He says the 38-year-old security officer's murder has had an adverse effect on the people living there.

"They're devastated and they're scared," Grant added. "They're scared for their families to come outside."

Valentin joined CIS in October with a resume that included 10 years of experience working in New York City. He leaves behind a wife and two young sons. Co-workers say he'll be missed.

"He was a very happy guy," says CIS CEO K.C. Poulin. "He was a fun guy to work with; talked about his family a lot."

Saturday a makeshift memorial of teddy bears and candles was visible from the entrance of Grande Oaks, not far from where Valentin lost his life.

Those who loved him hope the next thing they see is a suspect in handcuffs. CIS has been providing security at the Tampa complex for two years. All of their officers are armed and equipped with bulletproof vests.

While details from the shooting remain scarce detectives are pursuing any and all leads.

If you have any information about Wednesday night's shooting or known the identity of the person in the video please contact the Tampa Police Department.
