Ready or not, here it is. It's the busiest travel day of the year, and thousands of people are expected to trickle into Tampa International Airport to fly to their destinations.
But a majority of folks will be traveling out of town in cars, according to AAA, so experts say be safe and follow the rules of the road.
More than 39.1 million people will be driving over the next couple of days, AAA says. That's about 90 percent of Thanksgiving travelers.
AAA says it expects more people on the road this year than last. Gas prices are higher than they were last week, but it's still better than what we've been seeing. The average price of gas right now is $3.31.
