Missing boy found, sheriff's office says

UPDATE: The missing boy has been found. The sheriff's office says Brody was located in the area of Rivers Edge and Ohio, and is being returned to his family.


Hillsborough deputies are looking for a missing 12-year-old boy.

According to the sheriff's office, Brody Whidden was last seen around 8:30 this morning.

Investigators say his Mom last saw him at 8:30 in their home along Florida Circle East in Apollo Beach. She went back to bed until 10:30 and when she woke up, he was gone.

She called to report him missing at 11:30.

Cody is described as a white male, 5'7", 120 lbs., with brown hair and eyes, last seen wearing white shorts and red sneakers.
