School board elects new chair

TAMPA (FOX 13) -

April Griffin has been elected as the new chair of the Hillsborough County School Board.

Her peers on the board elected her unanimously. It's the first time Griffin will chair the school board.

Carol Kurdell has been elected as vice-chair.
