The USF Bulls had their season come to an abrupt halt Sunday night, losing 1-0 to Tulsa in overtime in the second round of the NCAA tournament.
Tulsa's Omar Mata scored on a free kick just outside the penalty box in the 118th minute to send the Golden Hurricanes into the third round.
Senior Sebastien Thuriere had the Bulls best chance of the night in the second half, when on a break-away rocketed a shot off of Tulsa goalkeeper Mike Pais' chest.
The loss caps a hard-fought season for the Bulls, which despite numerous injuries to key players, were able to scrap their way to eight wins on the year.
