CLEARWATER (FOX 13) -
A bicyclist was struck and killed by a car in Clearwater Thursday night.
It happened along near Drew Street and N. Evergreen Avenue around 6:30 p.m.
Police say the bicyclist was traveling in the "curb lane" when he was hit by the car from behind. He died at the scene.
Drew Street was closed while deputies and officers investigated.
Authorities have not released the name of the man who was killed; there's also no word yet on whether the driver will face charges.
