Detectives in St. Petersburg are trying to find two men after an attack on a 13-year-old girl as she walked home from school.
According to police, the attack was sexually motivated. The girl was walking home from school in the area of 601 31st Street South.
Two black males were sitting on the front porch of a home. As she walked by, police say one of them called out to her, and then he attacked her when she kept walking.
According to witnesses the second suspect did not participate in the attack.
Police have a good description of the alleged attacker.
He is 5-foot-8 and in his early 20s. He has a muscular build, full beard, and has both ears pierced with black and gray earrings. Police say he also had tattoos on the inside of both forearms. He was wearing a solid black T-shirt with black cargo shorts, block socks and Nike sandals at the time of the attack.
The second suspect is also 5-foot-8, very thin and had small twisty braids in his hair. He was also wearing black and was wearing a Nike shirt.
Police say a Good Samaritan intervened in the attack, and the girl was able to get away.
