NEW PORT RICHEY (FOX 13) -
An eyesore in New Port Richey is coming down.
Workers are now demolishing condemned trailers at the Walden
Pond Mobile Home Park. Earlier this year, the park's owner evicted residents,
but didn't do it legally.
Some stayed, and others just abandoned their trailers to
fall apart.
The city is now paying for the demolition but will bill the
owners of the park once everything is done.
We're told the cleanup could take up to three weeks.
