Semi-truck slams into side of building

Three people suffered minor injuries Tuesday after a semi-truck went sliding into the side of a building in Tampa.

Police say it happened at 40^th Street and 19^th Avenue East. The southbound lanes on 40^th were closed for hours as crews cleaned up the scene.

The truck slid on its side and dumped rims out into the street.

Fire and rescue officials said another car was involved. Two people from that car and the truck driver suffered minor injuries.
