PASCO COUNTY (FOX 13) -
A woman accused of trying to kill a Pasco County deputy
during a car chase will go on trial Monday.
Brittany Miles is charged with attempted murder of a law
enforcement officer. Prosecutors say she dragged a Pasco County deputy across
three lanes of traffic after escaping from a traffic stop.
The former topless dancer originally pleaded no contest, but
withdrew that when she learned she would serve a life sentence.
Miles is also accused of hitting and killing a motorcyclist
during a chase that followed. That case will be tried separately next week.
