
The victim was attacked by two men just before 6 a.m. Saturday in front of this home in East Bradenton.Detectives in Manatee County are on the lookout for a pair of murder suspects.
Juan Santiago Reyes-Tapia was killed early Saturday morning in the 900 block of 61st Ave. Circle East in Bradenton.
According to a Manatee County Sheriff's Office report deputies were dispatched to the scene just before 6 a.m. When they arrived they found Reyes-Tapia unresponsive suffering from at least one stab wound.
The 49-year-old man was transported to Blake Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Witnesses say the victim was getting ready for work when he was approached by two unidentified Hispanic males. An argument ensued and one of the men stabbed Reyes-Tapia in the chest.
The suspects were last seen heading west.
One of the men has a chubby build and short hair. He was wearing black pants, a blue sweatshirt and Converse tennis shoes.
The second suspect had a thick build and black hair pulled back into a ponytail. He also had a tattoo on his neck.
Several MCSO units responded to the scene to search for the assailants but were unsuccessful. No other information is available at this time.
Reyes-Tapia is the 23rd murder victim in Manatee County this year.
