TAMPA (FOX 13) -
Tampa police officers are questioning a man who may have attacked a woman in a downtown Tampa parking garage.
The assault happened in the Fort Brooke Garage around 11:30 a.m.
Police say the 63-year-old woman was walking toward the elevator on the 8th floor when the attacker grabbed her and dragged her into a stairwell.
He pushed her to the ground, punched her and fondled her, police said. She heard other people in the garage, screamed louder for help, and the attacker fled, police say.
Officers say they found a man matching the suspect's description sitting on a downtown park bench. He is being interviewed at TPD headquarters.
