Armed robbers storm Internet cafe

Two armed robbers burst into an Internet café overnight in North Tampa, demanding money from the people inside.

The details are unclear at this point, but officers tell us it happened at Nebraska and 142nd Avenue North at the Sunset II Internet lounge.

One of the guns went off, but the sheriff's office said no one was shot "intentionally." Two people were pistol whipped, and one was taken to the hospital, according to investigators.

The sheriff's office provided the following descriptions of the two suspects:

  • Black male, 22 to 29 years old, approximately 5'6" tall, dark complexion, thin build. Wearing a white mask and dark clothing. Armed with a handgun.
  • Black male, in his 20s, approximately 6' tall, thin build. Wearing a green mask and dark clothing. Also armed with a handgun.
