Federal offices in DC area to reopen Wednesday

Posted: Updated:
WASHINGTON -

Federal government offices in the Washington area will reopen Wednesday after being closed for two days because of superstorm Sandy.

The Office of Personnel Management announced Tuesday afternoon that government offices will open again. But OPM says employees still have the option for unscheduled leave or telework.

Tens of thousands of people in the region are still without power.
