Boston public schools and government offices will be open on Tuesday, according to Mayor Tom Menino's office.
In a press release, the Mayor's office said crews will work through the night into tomorrow's commute to make sure everything is running smoothly.
The city responded to more than 500 tree emergencies, more than 200 reports of downed wires and had fielded a total of more than 4,000 calls to the Mayor's hotline.
Temperatures were expected to be in the high 60s, with wind gusts to 20 mph and light rain on Tuesday.
